Features of Tour manage
Flexible Tour Detail Management
In Tour Manage, tours are divided into 3 basic parts: Tour Events, Tours and Tour Packages. Tour Event lets you describe a generic name to a type of tours (eg. Ashes). A Tour is a particular instance of a Tour Event (eg. Ashes 2007). Tour Package defines a collection of services provided under a Tour (eg. Ashes 2007 Economy Package). Services can be added or removed from a particular package as and when required, thus making the whole process flexible to suit customer requirements.
Enquiry
Despite of having a Tour Package an enquiry can be made. Follow up letters for enquiries can be printed using Tour Manage together with relevant Tour Package details (you may send your brochures along with these letters). The system indicates whether an enquiry was converted to a booking or not so you can take appropriate action accordingly.
At enquiry level, you can override Tour Package details, if required. That is, you can add or remove packages, no of pax, etc. as required by the customer.
Booking
An enquiry can be used to make a Booking, thus reducing the amount of data needed to enter into the system. However a booking can be made without an enquiry as in common cases. Once a payment is made against a Booking, it will be considered confirmed and due supplier payments will be generated automatically in the system for services provided in the Booking.
Even at booking level, you can override Tour Package and Enquiry details, if required. That is, you can add or remove packages, no of pax, etc. as required by the customer.
Supplier Services
You can add suppliers and their services to Tour Manage. There are six basic service categories namely Travel, Accommodation, Insurance, Fixture Tickets, Ground Handling and Other services. These supplier services can be directly used in tour packages.
Payments
Tour Manage handles both payments & refunds to/from suppliers as well as customers. There are four pre-defined payment modes (Cheque, cash, credit card and bank draft) and you can even add your own payment mode in Tour Manage.
Tour Manage Email Reader
Tour Manage Email Reader will let you read a pop account and automatically insert enquiries into Tour Manage system, if the email is sent according to a particular format. You can set any web site to send enquiry requests to this email address and get those enquiries automatically entered into Tour Mange system.
Tax Calculation
Tour Manage allows you to easily calculate tax for a given period. This feature displays a summary of earnings, expenses, profit and tax for a given period. It also allows you to make the tax payment and update the system accordingly.
